During the off season, I take a much-needed break to rest and recover from triathlons. It's important to give myself time to relax and recharge both mentally and physically. I sometimes experience a lack of motivation and post-race blues, but creating a list of completed races helps me reflect on my accomplishments. I also analyze my races qualitatively to understand my overall feelings and experiences, and quantitatively to identify areas for improvement. By combining both types of analysis, I gain a comprehensive understanding of my performance. Summarizing the season and answering key questions helps me identify valuable lessons and areas for improvement. Reviewing and reflecting on my race performances ultimately leads to better training and performance in the future.
