How to set up DMARC + authenticate your domain for email marketing

New sender requirements will be implemented next week. Bulk senders with a list of 5,000 or more people must add a D mark to their emails. To check if your domain has a valid D mark, use the provided URL. If the D mark is inactive, add a text record with specific details to your domain. Additionally, make sure you have a branded sending domain in Klaviyo or your email provider. Check your account settings to see if your domain is branded, and if not, follow the prompts to add the necessary records. Warming up your domain is not necessary if you regularly send emails to your list. Ensure that your default sender name matches your domain. If you use a non-branded email address, set up a branded sending domain using Google Workspace. Follow the steps and add DNS records to set up the branded email. Lastly, check your Shopify account notifications to ensure they are sent from a branded sending domain. Authenticate your Shopify notifications and add DNS records if prompted.
