Creating Hot Microclimates

This video explains how to create a microclimate for plants that love warmth, like basil, peppers and tomatoes. The best way is to use a dark colored pot and place it in a spot that gets plenty of sunlight, such as a southern or western exposure. It is important to provide the plants with deep watering, and to let the soil dry after each watering. Doing so will optimize the growth of the plants.
