Herb Infused Sugar Reel

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (or other herbs)

  • 1/2 cup organic sugar

Directions

  1. Gather mint leaves and separate them from stems. Gently wash the leaves if needed and dry thoroughly (a salad spinner can help with this – it’s important to dry thoroughly)

  2. Combine fresh mint leaves with sugar in a blender or food processor.

  3. Blend until mixture is fine and there are no visible mint leaves left. Sugar will take on a slight green color.

  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge and use within a week or two.
