Session 2 - Chronic Anxiety_Work-006

Anxiety comes in different forms, including chronic anxiety. Trauma and generalized anxiety disorder may require specialized help or medication. Chronic anxiety is constant and stems from assumptions, expectations, false beliefs, and false needs. Reactivity is a common sign, with some people becoming bigger and others smaller. Chronic anxiety is generated by five false needs: control, perfection, always having the answer, always being there for people, and people's approval. It is important to identify these false needs and transform them into specific belief statements. Externalizing and confessing these beliefs is crucial in managing chronic anxiety. Studying assumptions and practicing the opposite of false needs can help overcome chronic anxiety.
