1. The Four Spaces (4k)

Join me on a journey as a trauma and hospice chaplain in Knoxville, Tennessee. On my first day, I was overwhelmed and faced with a dead body and grieving family. Feeling responsible for others' emotions, I struggled with anxiety and feeling flooded. However, over time, I learned to notice and manage my anxiety, becoming more present and connected. I discovered four spaces of anxiety: within oneself, between oneself and others, inside others, and between others. By actively noticing and understanding these spaces, I was able to better manage and respond to anxiety. This journey of self-awareness allowed me to experience and connect with God in the present moment.
