The Mandrell Method video discusses the lessons I learned while supervising staff and expanding my team. As the team grew, communication and consistency issues arose. To address these issues, I introduced weekly handler supervision meetings to ensure consistency and address any issues. Emphasis is placed on groundwork and relationship building with horses to address any issues that may arise. Additionally, a three-month trial period and evaluation process for staff was implemented to address performance and growth. Staffing meetings and continuing education sessions help address client needs and improve skills. Overall, these meetings have improved communication, teamwork, and fostered a growth mindset among the staff.
