DOCTOR

The sign for "doctor" in American Sign Language (ASL) involves making a modified M hand shape by pulling the three fingers down over the thumb. To sign "doctor," extend the three fingers of the M hand shape and tap it on the inside of the opposite wrist, mimicking taking a pulse. The tapping motion is repeated twice for emphasis.
